Our Story

Digital Closet was founded in Bucharest, Romania, with a simple but powerful idea: that beautiful fashion shouldn't sit idle in closets. Too often, designer pieces are worn once or twice and then forgotten, while others dream of wearing them but can't justify the price.

We built Digital Closet to bridge that gap. Our platform connects people who own stunning designer pieces with those who want to wear them for special occasions—weddings, galas, date nights, business events, and everything in between.

Starting in Romania and expanding across Central and Eastern Europe, we are building a community where luxury fashion is shared, celebrated, and given new life with every rental.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make sustainable luxury fashion the norm, not the exception. The fashion industry is one of the largest contributors to global waste, with millions of garments discarded every year. By enabling people to rent rather than buy, we extend the life of every piece and reduce the demand for new production.
